An intimate SPA in Nature
27 Sept 2006
Tweet

Since 2003, Elisabeth Montsarrat and her husband, Pierre Vincent decided to give pleasure to others, by arranging an old priory in the surroundings of Crest, into a charming guest house. It is open all year long and there is a SPA!

La Petite Aiguebonne

One is completely in the countryside and in the heart of the Drôme Provençale, a dreamy area, which should be visited without fail throughout the year, and not only during summer. All the more so in the autumn and during the cooler season, Pierre and Elisabeth put themselves out for you and multiply their attentions.

It is Elisabeth herself who entirely decorated the house, by mixing the styles, with much effect and, if the living room is resolutely modern, the rooms are furnished with objects unearthed in second-hand shops in the area, each one in a different style:

La Petite Aiguebonne

Tuscan, African with tonalities of ebony, colonial spirit or resolutely theatrical.

A pleasure for the eyes which you will appreciate even more by staying there.

This Spring, they have installed a SPA with hydro massage jets, perfect to loosen painful muscles, and massages given by the gifted relaxologist, Kristine Le Vaillant, who knows how to relax the victims of stress that we all are. The guest table is delicious, you can eat there all together, or have an intimate dinner for two, as you like.

Home cooking is inspired by Elisabeth who likes to add a touch of originality to refined traditional dishes she presents and serves.

From 2007, La Petite Aiguebonne will even have its own vintage of Brézème, excellent Côtes du Rhône, produced in very small quantities from the very close area.

Chambre Zanzibar - La Petite Aiguebonne

Let’s go and meet the wine-growers of the Clairette de Die, and profit from the view of the keep of Crest, the highest in Europe, and on the mountains of Vercors surrounding the house.

A true moment of pure wellbeing!
