Extrait musical :
Les Talents Lyriques – Christophe Rousset | Premier Concert: 3 – Le Vèzinet | Festival d’Ambronay
Amongst them, four creations, which is considerable, with an opera Ercole Amante , of Cavalli, interpreted by the young artists of the Academy baroque of Ambronay, with the ballets of Lulli, and the inevitable, such as La Crèation , of Haydn, La Passion selon Saint Matthieu , of Bach, Mozart, at the Auditorium of Lyon, Les Carnetz Secretz , of Marguerite of Austria, in the Royal Monastery of Brou.
All around, at la Roulotte, a musical Voyage to the Kingdom of Bohemia , with Loulou Djine and his gypsy music of the Balkans, and the Croatian Traditional Polyphonies , by the Cantors of Pharos.
Two recordings will be made live , during the Festival and eight other concerts will be broadcast on France Music and on other European radios, this testifies, if it were necessary to prove it, the international dimension of the Festival of Ambronay.
This year, the Ambronay Festival proposes, to its faithful spectators, Ballades in Bohemia, this land covered with forests, rivers, lakes and countryside, which extends between the Elba and the Danube, and conceals musical treasures, which go from the baroque style of Poland to Viennese classicism, while passing through Croatian songs and Hungarian traditional music. It is all this that Ambronay holds for us this year, with an even more sparkling programme than usual.
Seventeen concerts will be given in the Abbey, but also under the Big top, which has been specially installed, and in other locations close by such as Bourg en Bresse, Lyon, Pèrouges, Jujurieux…
