Swimming pools, lagoons, water falls and toboggans at the camping site
15 Juin 2006

Everyone knows, camping is no longer what it was, and that’s good! It is a real pleasure today to live in bungalows, chalets or even set up your own tent and take advantage of the water play areas that are proposed by these great structures. They bring a breath of fresh air to the camping concept itself and give clients the opportunity to fully profit from nature.

At the beginning it was a 6 500m2 lake, edged by a shady sand beach and by three hectares of greenery. All this set in Drôme Provençale, the place where the sun goes, more than anywhere else, into its summer quarters.

Beyond the Domaine du Sagittaire , there are lavender fields, apricot and cherry tree orchards, the olive trees from Nyons and the whole enchanting Drôme Provençale with its castles, its vineyards and its perched villages. But let’s return to the waters edge!

It is so hot in summer time, that real pleasure is being able to dive into the 300m2 swimming pool (if the smallest cloud appears, it is covered), to go from the lagoons to the water falls, from the bubbling baths to the SPA, from the river to the jacuzzi and to slide down one of the six slopes of the toboggans.

In South Ardèche, on the other side of the Rhône, it is in Saint Alban Auriolles, in the Camping Club Le Ranc Davaine that you blossom at the waters’ edge.

At the beginning and at the end of the season, the swimming pool is covered. The structure is pulled off as soon as the sun appears and warms up pools, toboggans, paddling pools.

You can also profit from the SPA, solarium, and bubbling baths and invest a few more euros to take advantage of the fitness room with musculation, sauna, hammam, shower with sprays, jacuzzi…

Every night in full summer, you can celebrate with the organizers and since it is a club, the youngsters have their own welcoming structures to spend excellent moments with or without their parents.

Outside, you can hear the cicadas singing and, during the stay, you will leave and explore garrigue, streams, rivers and gorges. Particularly the Archèche gorges.
