As every year, the world’s best pilots and, among them, the Air Force Acrobatic team will multiply the aerobatics. Paragliding, delta, but also speed-gliding, wingsuit (a winged combination, very close to the dream of Icare), microlights, paramotors and even paper planes.

The participants in Icarnaval will compete in imagination and in fancy by inventing the most unusual flying objects: lifeboats, hippopotami and, this year, the reconstruction by Francis Heilmann of the Henri Fabre’s seaplane, the one hundred years of which is celebrated this year.

It will be in competition with another model, built by Vincent Saffioti and his model aircraft club. The Major of the helicopter base for Civil Security in Grenoble, who has a passion for model aircraft making, will expose his version, a faithful copy of the original model, in the Model Aircraft Making Salon. His Canard is one meter ten long with a two meters thirty wingspan.
