Lac d’Annecy
Tweet

One of the world’s purest lakes, the long finger of Lac d’Annecy offers idyllic views in every direction.   Take a lake cruise for the full impact, stopping off to explore Talloires and Veyrier, or follow the shore on foot, bike or roller blades.

At the north end of the lake, the historic centre of Annecy is one of the most photographed towns in Europe with its flower-fringed canals and bridges, stone arcades and hilltop chateau.  Visit in early August for the fabulous Fête du Lac.
