Route des Grandes Alpes

One of Europe’s classic journeys, the Route des Grandes Alpes links Menton with Thonon, with themed side routes to stone villages and Baroque churches.  The super-fit cycle it, but take the car for a leisurely view of wild scenery and high passes.
